This Privacy Policy explains how Moyu Labs (operated by [Company legal name], [Registered address]) ("Moyu Labs", "we", "us") handles information when you visit moyulabs.com or use our Mac apps.

1. Summary

We collect as little as possible. Our apps work locally on your Mac. We do not sell or share your personal data.

2. Waitlist

If you join a waitlist, we collect only your email address. It is stored on Cloudflare (our hosting provider) and used solely to tell you about the product launch and related updates. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

3. Our apps (including Zapfind)

Zapfind indexes files locally on your Mac. File names, file contents and the index never leave your computer and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Zapfind sends no analytics or telemetry. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and say so clearly in the app before any data is sent.

4. Purchases

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy (paddle.com/legal). We receive from Paddle only what is needed to deliver and support your license, such as your email, name, country and order details. We never see your full card details.

5. Website

The website is served by Cloudflare, which may process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs for security and performance. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. A language preference is stored in your browser's local storage.

6. Service providers

Cloudflare (hosting, waitlist storage, email routing) and Paddle (payments). These providers may process data outside your country under appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention

Waitlist emails are kept until the waitlist ends or you ask us to delete them. Purchase records are kept as long as required for licensing, support and legal obligations.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, PIPL), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data and to object to processing. Email hi@moyulabs.com and we will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
