Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of moyulabs.com and the software sold by Moyu Labs, operated by [Company legal name], [Registered address] ("Moyu Labs", "we", "us"). By using our website or software you agree to these Terms.

1. Purchases and Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal) apply to your purchase in addition to these Terms.

2. License

When you buy an app, you receive a one-time, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that version of the app on Macs you own or control, within any device limits stated at purchase. Some future major versions may be sold separately; any updates included with your purchase will be stated on the product page.

3. Restrictions

You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software or license keys, or reverse engineer, decompile or circumvent licensing, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Paddle according to its refund policy. As a guide, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase; contact hi@moyulabs.com or Paddle and we'll help. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.

5. Waitlist and beta versions

Joining a waitlist creates no obligation for either party. Pre-release or beta software is provided as-is and may change or stop working.

6. Your data

Our apps process your files locally. You are responsible for backing up your data. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The software, website, names and logos are owned by Moyu Labs or its licensors. These Terms grant no rights except the license above.

8. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moyu Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the software concerned. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Termination

Your license ends automatically if you breach these Terms. Sections 7–11 survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

12. Changes
